How to Measure Your Skis for GECKO 3 Skins

GECKO 3 Skins come "pre-cut" or "shape your own".
(Note: the metal edges of your ski will not be covered by the skin; therefore, the ordered width will be 4 mm less than the edge to edge measurement))

For "pre-cut" skins:

Measure width without metal ski edges
(or measure edge to edge and deduct 4mm from total measurement):
Measure the width in millimeters at :
a) top: the widest part of the tip
b) middle: narrow part at the binding
c) bottom:  the widest part at the tail end of the ski - i.e.
top/middle/bottom = 90/64/80 - See Diagram Below

Choose appropriate skin based on your measurements. To order...

If your measurements are not listed under "pre-cut" skins then order
either a slightly narrower ski skin (based on middle measurement) to assure that at least 4mm of ski are left bare (metal edges should not be covered by the skin)
or "shape your own" skins.

Determine length of ski in centimeters - order next length if the exact length of your ski is not listed.

For ski lengths that exceed our listed lengths by up to 5 cm we recommend that you purchase the MP Sport Fastener Clip. This clip allows secure attachment of the skin to the ski.
